Tournament Information
Registration
Registration for the 2025 University of Massachusetts Amherst Science Olympiad tournament is now closed. Our Division C tournament will be held on campus on February 15th, 2025.
Registered teams must pay the $40 registration fee or request an extension by November 20th. Teams that do not do so will be subjected to a $70 late registration fee per team instead of the normal $40 fee.
Tournament Details
We will be running the same 21 events as the Massachusetts State Science Olympiad, which includes all main national events excluding Flight. Build events will follow the State guidelines, while all other events (including the Hybrid events Optics, Wind Power, and Material Science) will use the National guidelines.
Similar to last year's tournament, we will be offering special awards for build events! We hope to encourage
creative and innovative builds through these awards.
Merch
Our Publicity team has been hard at work this semester creating awesome new designs, and we are thrilled to share these with everyone. This year, our merch includes a crewneck sweatshirt, a tote bag, and stickers. Please note that we will only be selling merch through pre-orders; we do not anticipate having merch for sale on the day of the tournament.
